IMO Subnational Health Cluster

Purpose:

To establish a well-functioning IM system in the hub he/she is driving information management and reporting to ensure critical information is made available to implement a data driven humanitarian health response which is effective and efficient.

Objective:

The hub IMO is key ensuring the information regarding needs, gaps and activities is reliable, is collected regularly, is comprehensive and up to date, relies on standard reporting tools and shared regularly by all health cluster partners and stakeholders. The IMO will be in charge of providing basic analysis of data collected and regular/ad hoc reporting.

Deliverables including technical reports:

  • Contact list of all IMO or reporting officers of all partners active in the hub oblasts to be added to the HC shared contact list (15 December)1 page report on attendance and agenda of: monthly meeting and training/follow up session on reporting to all partners (10th of every month). Provision of ad hoc sessions for new IMOs of partners organization.
  • Proactively gather information from relevant cluster partners, UN agencies and other organisations which may be of use to the employing agency or cluster for informing decisions on weekly basis
  • Clean the 5W matrix weekly, engage with partners to provide feedback and guide them to better reporting, provide biweekly report according to deadline to the national IMO and a completed 5W/other reporting tool, cleaned (after interaction with partners), that reflects activities of 85% of the partners active in all the oblasts of the hub
  • Weekly monitoring report as per template to be shared with national coordination.
  • Participation in monthly HC IM meeting (attendance report by national IMO), subnational cluster weekly meeting as well as participation at IMWG, Cluster and inter-Cluster meetings
  • Provide ad hoc information to the national reporting officer as needed, even with short deadlines
  • Partners and other assessments encoded in the assessment dashboard weekly
  • Design necessary data collection forms, ensuring that the purpose and use of data collected is clear and that questions are simple, clear and collectable whenever needed
  • Biweekly presentation of activity dashboard to the subnational cluster meeting
  • Prepare-publish and analyse results of surveys or specific expression of interests e.g. via KOBO (ex. mobile health, call for assessments, Call for co-chair, etc) and share report to the supervisor ad hoc
  • Organise and manage data input from data collection forms and conduct initial analysis of the data to be shared with the subnational coordination and national coordination team.
  • All reports and data are saved in real time as per standard encoding system in the shared folder within the subcluster folder and are accessible to the HC team
  • Provide support to the national team on specific urgent issues as needed
